Gotha

Gotha, Florida, nestled between Ocoee and Windermere in Orange County, has a rich history dating back to its 1885 founding by German immigrant H. A. Hempel. Named after Hempel's German hometown, Gotha has grown from a promotional haven for settlers to a thriving community within the Orlando–Kissimmee Metropolitan Area, now home to over 2,000 residents and the final resting place of renowned painter Bob Ross.
